When you have scheduled an appointment for a new patient exam, you can download and print all new patient forms from our website. This will enable you to have them completed prior to your visit to the office.
At your initial visit:
- You will have a chance to communicate the purpose of your visit, discuss your desired treatment outcomes, and ask any questions you may have regarding your care.
- We will thoroughly review your medical and dental history.
- Photographs of your teeth will be taken along with any necessary radiographs.
- A comprehensive dental examination will be completed that will include an oral cancer screening and assess the condition of your teeth, gums, jaw joints, and muscles.
- A discussion of your doctor’s initial findings and treatment options will be held.
- Some people have complex treatment needs that require additional diagnostic records to develop a complete treatment plan. Any fees associated with additional records will be clearly communicated to you before they are incurred. A separate, complimentary consultation appointment will be scheduled where your doctor will share with you your treatment options along with their recommendations, treatment fees, and ideal sequencing of treatment appointments.
